Part of the Veritas power tool guide system, most power tools need only to run alongside the guide, but this 300mm long travelling plate hooks within the rails on either side of the Veritas tool guide. It comes pre-drilled and tapped to accept 1/4"UNC screws (included) to hold a 6mm (or thicker) self-made base plate to which you attach your choice of power tool. The utility of the traveller is further enhanced with the available position stops that clamp onto either guide rail. With the UHMW-coated mating section of the traveller positively engaged in the guide and the position stops locked, you can be assured that your tool will effortlessly follow the intended line, and stop at the right location with greater safety.
